Text Box: T-Recs is an exhilarating and exciting educational science & technology camp for girls and boys entering grades 3 - 8. This one-week camp of action packed learning activities brings together the world of science & technology to your child in a way that makes learning fun! Children of all abilities and interest are welcome. The camp consists of a mixture of instruction, creative activities, fun time, and outdoor recreation. All campers participate in all activities suited for their age and ability. All teams are guided by NJ certified teachers. T-Recs runs Monday through Friday, 9:00AM - 3:00PM, with before and after-care program extending the day from 8:00AM - 5:00PM. Camp fee includes all materials, supplies, morning/afternoon snacks, and activities below. Regular Camp 9:00AM—3:00PM Extended Camp 8:00AM—5:00 PM Text Box: Activities Space & Beyond: Campers design and launch high flying solid fuel rockets that soar! They see them hit the clouds and parachute back to earth! Ringoes 500!: Encounter the thrill of victory. Campers race self-designed & constructed high speed miniature dragsters in head-to-head competition. Always a show stopper. Stop Motion Animation—”Sandmation”: All campers will try their hand at becoming the next great movie director! Using sand and paper (like claymation), campers will design, direct, and film their own “sandmation” animated movie. Lights! Action! Camera! And More… T-Recs’ Counselors are busy designing and developing new activities as they get ready for the 2008 T-Recs Season. We will offer your child an exciting, educational, and rewarding technology camp experience. All campers experience all age appropriate activities over the course of the camp! Registration fee includes all materials, supplies, snacks, and juice. Lunch is not included.
