T-Recs
is an exhilarating and exciting educational science
& technology camp for girls and boys entering grades 3 - 8. This
one-week camp of action packed learning activities brings together the world of
science & technology to your child in a way that makes learning fun!
Children of all abilities and interest are welcome. The camp consists of a
mixture of instruction, creative activities, fun time, and outdoor recreation.
All campers participate in all activities suited for their age and ability. All
teams are guided by NJ certified teachers.
T-Recs runs
Monday through Friday, 9:00AM - 3:30PM,
with early drop-off option at 8:00AM
Camp fee includes all materials,
supplies, morning/afternoon snacks, and activities below
(Excluding Explorer Supply Fee).

ACTIVITIES
SPACE & BEYOND:
Campers design and launch high
flying solid fuel rockets that soar! They see them hit the clouds and parachute
back to
earth!
RINGOES 500!:
Encounter the thrill of victory.
Campers race self-designed & constructed high speed miniature dragsters in head-to-head
competition. Always a show stopper.
CLAYMATION ACROSS THE NATION:
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
T-Recs will revisit the popular
stop action animation activity using the computer and web cam. Campers will
create a scripted animated story through the development of a storyboard,
script, and character creation. Lots of fun!
Squishy
Circuits:
Campers will explore basic electronics
through the use of “squishy” conductive clay to build and control circuits. A great project for kids that comes out of the University of St.
Thomas.
A fun experience for all!
T-RECS EXPLORER SERIES—ELECTRONICS (8th
Grader’s Only! Additional $50 Supply/Activity Fee
Applies)
T-Recs’ will offering special focused
activities for 8th grade campers wanting to concentrate in electronic projects.
Eighth grader’s can choose the regular camp program or the Explorer’s group.
Projects are still being developed. Stay tuned to our website for developments.
All
campers experience all age appropriate activities over the course of the camp!
Registration
fee includes ( Excluding Explorer’s) all materials,
supplies, snacks, and juice. Lunch is not included.
